Neither motherboard is anything to write home about. Both are
low-end systems and "slow" is a relative term. Moreover, the
PCChips MB863G uses an AMD Duran CPU whilst the Biostar P4M80-M4,
an Intel Celeron with VIA chipset.

As a general rule, buying a custom-built system is not the route
to take for a neophyte computer buyer. There were better choices
from the major OEM brands.

Go to intel.com,downloads,locate chipset, locate chipset installation utility,
download.Return to downloads, proccesor software, that celeron can use the
processor frequency id utility,or the processor i.d. utility, download
either or
both.

The PCChips MB863G Pro is a budget motherboard at best, able to take the AMD
K7 socket A processor type.. from what I can see, there is no socket A 3800+
processor available, so the combination was never a starter.. It is
difficult to say what was fitted at this point..

The Biostar P4M80-M4 is also a budget board.. the Celeron CPU fitted is a
budget processor..

All immaterial really.. the issue is whether or not you gotten value for
money, and are you happy with it?..

A comparison for you..
