Motherboard is ATX; however, Win2K thinks it is an AT board.

I just installed Win 2K on an old motherboard (ASUS P5A) with an AMD K6 450hz
processor. It thinks the system is an AT motherboard. Why?

The system previously had Win98 and it know it was an ATX motherboard. I
didn't change any hardware configuration except removing one of the CD-Rom
drives.

I got used to pressing "Shutdown" and then walking away. Now, I have to
wait until the system says it is OK to Shutdown the power, like my old AT
systems.

Go into Control Panel and open Power Options. Under APM,
enable Advanced Power Management Support. If the computer
bios is set up accordingly, the computer might shut down
on its own after going to Start>>Shutdown.

I activated APM; however, the system would just restart after I shutdown. I
am planning to install the latest Bios; however, I am not sure if this will
help. Why does Win2K thinks it is an AT/AT Compatible system.

I checked the installation manual of the motherboard and there is no setting
AT/ATX since it only has an ATX power connector.
