Yes, there are Athlon 64 motherboards that support SATA hard drives.
The Athlon 64's don't have an external front side bus. The memory controller
is built onto the processor itself.
Do you really want to trust a total stranger to pick out which motherboard
they think you should buy? Try a google.com search for "Athlon 64 review"
and read, read read. Do not stop reading until you can identify for yourself
which motherboards to buy for the Athlon 64.
Also since there are almost no programs written to take advantage of 64 bit
processors yet, why exactly do you think you need an Athlon 64?
