I upgraded my motherboard and CPU, now I an unable to boot
(I have XP Home edition). Please assist me in resolving
this, I don't really want to reload XP since I will loose
all of the "My Documents and settings"

What type of memory do you have. I had 2 sticks of 512 SDram on a recent
upgrade and had the same problem you had. I swapped out the memory 1 at a
time and one chip failed to allow the machine to boot. The other one fired
up the machine fine. Funny thing is that the so called bad chip is now
running in my daughters machine which is older. Whether it was a timing
problem or chip density I have no idea but they were purchased at difference
times. It is my understanding that some newer MB and Chip combos can be
sensitive to memory. I have upgraded to DDR Memory and they work fine.
Hopefully, you have access to memory either by having 2 sticks or can borrow
some. Just good to eliminate this possibility.
