Most Recently Used file list

I have repeatedly changed the Recently Used File option to retain 6 entries
(although I've tried other numbers as well) and it's like Word doesn't save
the option change. Not only does it not display the MRU's, the check mark
next to this option is blank even though I just checked it. Very
annoying....TIA - Ange

I figured this out....the "FirstRun" registry entry was set to 0 rather
than 1.
