Mosaic square happening while playing movie in my DVD-ROM

Hi All

I got the mosaic square while playing the movie in my DVD-ROM. My PC is
1.2GHZ fast.
But I didn't have that situation while playing the movie in my laptop's
DVD-ROM. My laptop
is 650MHZ fast. Appreciate that answers.
 
We're going to need more information than that...
Speed doesn't really matter these days when it comes to DVD, your video card
does.
Try updating drivers (videocard, mainboard, video codecs, ...).

Oh, I hope your pc has a DVD drive, not a regular CD drive... And I also
hope you're using a DVD-viewing program, not Windows Media Player, because
that most likely doesn't work.
 
You may have installed the Elecard MPEG-2 decoder, and it's trial
period has expired.

You will have to pay for it or uninstall it.

If you uninstall it, DVD's will stop playing.

Check "Add/Remove Programs" to see if it's there.
