More print spooler

Amos

As soon as I click Add Printer, I get "operation could not be completed"
and the wizard does not start. I did the 4 step Sanderson plan but I still
get "Could not start the Print Spooler Service on local computer. Error 5
Access is denied" when I try to start the spooler. I am logged on as
Administrator and no printer drivers are present. TIA

Try flushing the contests of the folder:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Crashed printers leave "garbage" here. It can stop the
spooler from running. Without the spooler, no printers
are shown and no drivers either.
