I am currently seeding to 10 peers... and I have uploaded 3.5 GB or so...
and what I am noticing is that some downloaders will get to 100% and bail
immediately. You are not helping the cause. *PLEASE* stay until you have
uploaded at least what you have downloaded.

The .torrent file is a text based file... try right click and saveas...
then open the .torrent with µTorrent.

Oh yes, so it does. You must be using micro$oft IE.

Workaround: Use Firefox - works fine. He He.

Sorry. I abandoned IE about a 18 months ago. Try firefox. Really.

Oh for Pete's sake. . . IE seems to have gotten dumber since last year.
.. . Those are plain old ordinary HTML files with a .php extension.

One way to fix IE is to change your settings.

Go to the Tools menu/ "Internet Options" / Advanced

Scroll wayyyyyyy down to "Security" put a check mark in the box that
says "Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer"

Has anyone got an easier/better suggestion?

I'm glad to hear that. :)

I've been looking at the various settings. The security tab has a
setting to "open files based on content, not file extension" but
allowing that doesn't seem to make any difference.

I wonder what MS was thinking when they made this change? It doesn't
make sense to me. I'm also wondering who is effected by the change. Only
those with Win XP SP2 or others as well?
