I need to to be able to put more characters per line in windows mail, can
anyone help please? I know when I had OE there was somewhere you could go and
change how many there was per line but I cant find it here. TIA

Ooops!! not explained myself properly..:( There is obviously a default number
of how many characters including spaces go across an email. I want to change
this default so that I can get more characters across the page. Example..
default 50 change to 100. Thanks for trying tho!!!

If you mean when sending:
Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, Plain Text Settings.

No, not that either....right...:-).. when I read an email all the text is
over on the left hand side of the message, I want the text to all the way
from left to right. I get sent links to the internet, and send them but when
they appear in my mails the links are broken because the text is not reaching
right across the page.....PHEW!!... Sorry, I am hopeless at describing
things..:(

Well, the setting I gave you will pretty much take care of that.
It allows you to set the line width all the way up to 132 characters:
("Automatically wrap text at 132 characters when sending"),
which is much longer than most URL links. However, a better way to
take care of this problem (broken links) is to either compose
emails by using HTML format, or else, if you prefer plain text, go
back to the same place I gave you below, and select "MIME" and
"Encode text using Quoted Printable."

Note that although you can have control over what you send out,
you have no control over what you receive. So, nothing can be
done about receiving emails that have broken URL links, except to
mend them manually.
