monitor troubles

i recently built a new pc and my monitor had been sitting
for about a year and now when i use it it seems to be
trying to resize itself all the time. ive changed scren
resoultions and nothing helps. it just flickers and
changes sizes, especially on explaorer pages. anyone know
what would be causeing this?

You can test different refresh rates. 75-80Hz should be satisfactory.

Also look for an updated video card driver, from the chip or card
manufacturer's WEBsite.

It could also be the power source for the monitor. One thing you can do
is try using the monitor on a different computer and see if the problems
still exist
