Monitor screen going black automatically

I was using my computer today and it was acting just fine, when the
computor screen suddenly turned off and now i can't open the monitor
screen again, without it turning off again...Anyone have any ideas of
what i should do?

The monitor went bad.

The video card (or built in motherboard video sub-system) went bad.

Swap the monitor with another one.

Swap the video card with another one.
