I am using Windows 2000 Professional. I want to have my
display settings smaller than my husband wants his. If I
change mine when he logs on his are changed
also....needless to say he isn't happy about this. Is
there any way I can keep my resolution and he can have
his. BTW....I am the administrator. Darlene

Have you looked at Control Panel/System/Hardware/Hardware Profiles ?
may help

Neither should be the Administrator
The primary account should be setup to use for administrative changes
only and another administrator account should be setup to use in the
event that the primary account is corrupt for some reason. Ask some
of the experts in here.

The display setup is such a minor thing to change, each user can
change the resolution in a matter of seconds, without rebooting the
PC.

But, if you are the administrator and a domineering women, put him in
his place, and make him do as you please.

Thank you, It isn't a big deal but just something I would
have liked to know about. We have been married 36 years
and were high school sweethearts so eventually I "WILL"
convince him.....in my own sweet way. Thanks again.

Thanks, I will check this out...Darlene

Hi

Here are some workarounds that you can but in a batch file in the
startup folder or similar:

Some command line freeware utilities MultiRes , Resolution Changer,
Vidres that can help you:
