monitor phone number

I've a windows 2000 PC with modem.

Is there a way to monitor the phone number used?
Is there a way to log the phone number user?

For dial-up you mean? I haven't used a modem since NT, but IIRC, NT logged
all dial-up connections in the system event log; perhaps 2000 does the same.
