Monitor out of range. New Install

I've reinstalled 3 times now as per MSFTs request and I still get the problem
where after a few reboots, it says my monitor is out of range. I only have
this one LCD and nothing else.

Main C drive is XP Pro and d drive has a clean install of Vista. Anyone got
any suggestions?

You should be able to boot into Safe Mode and then set the resolution for
you monitor to its native resolution and refresh rate of 60 or 59Hz. And
then try a normal boot.
More details on your monitor its interface and your current display settings
would be helpful

Boot into VGA Mode or Safe Mode and then set the display
(resolution, refresh rate, and/or number of colors) to something that
your monitor can handle. Consult its manual to determine acceptable
settings. Reboot one more time, into Normal Mode.
