Monitor mirroring

Does anyone know of any nifty freeware utilities that will allow
'mirroring' of the desktop in dual monitor mode ( W98 )?

I've found a graphic's card that's compatible with dual display, and
what I'd like is for the display on the primary monitor to be
duplicated on the secondary one - instead of a blank desktop.

Have drawn a complete blank so far, apart from a commercial solution
or two.

Failing that, anyone recommend any other handy dual-monitor freeware,
just for the hell of it?

If the card is an Nvidia or ATI card that function is available in
display properties/Advanced after ther driver is installed.

Unfortunately neither of them are...and the only ATI card I have
knocking about is a Mach64 from 1997.

Handy tip though, thanks - I'll scour ebay for a cheap pci card.
