monitor flickers

I have a 19" trinitron flat monitor (micronpc) and I
recently got a new computer with Windows XP Home edition.
Any time I start playing games the monitor starts
flickering. I've tried changing the refresh rate and it
still happens. What else can I try?

Try a different power outlet. If the newer computer is using morre power
than the original, then the power outlet may not have enough power for the
monitor.

Does this only occur once you enter a game or does it do it other times.
If only during the games, check to make sure your drivers are all up to
date (including the monitor) and make sure you don't have any override
programs such as NVRefresh Tool installed. Set all options to default
for your drivers, give a nice reboot, and then see if it still does it.
