I have an IBM ThinkPad T-21. When I installed XP2003 I
received a message there was an incompatibility issue
with XP and my monitor. Any ideas how to resolve it? My
monitor looks like it's in safe mode. I can see the
content, but it's in poor quality. Thanks. K

Notebook computers require the installation of specialized hardware drivers
only the notebook manufacturer can provide.
Visit http://www-1.ibm.com/support/us/all_download_drivers.html and download
the Windows XP drivers designed for your specific model IBM notebook, including
the video adapter and audio device drivers.

After installing the new drivers, right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Settings and change the Color Quality to Highest (32-bit), then
adjust the Screen Resolution to your liking.

Then visit http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/default.htm
and click on "ClearType Tuner Updated".
