I've a client computer with modem.

I want to monitor the phone number that he use...

How can i do?

is there a log?

is there a way to tell to the use what number he use?

Yes - take a PPP log of the connection attempts and the phone number will
show up as atdt<xxxxxxxx> where <xxxxxxx> would be the phone number.
