Monitor and PC shut down

I have XP Home and while in e-mail and playing a game my System will freeze
then the monitor will black out and open again in 1 or 2 minutes. This has
been happining more and more in the last fwe days? Any ideas on this?

Since you give absolutely no details on your system, what type of connection
you have, and so on, it is very unlikely you will get a response.

On the extremely limited information you give, I would suspect two
things...a bad connection (check the monitor cables are secured on both
ends), or that the monitor is going bad. Third possibility; you may have
your graphics card set to a refresh rate that the monitor cannot handle.
