Modifying the Outline

Hello,
I would like to be able to write a macro or find a way to easily take the
outline view and remove all text in a particular format or color from the
outline + replace the text with the same number of underscore characters,
essentially creating a fill-in-the-blank outline automatically. How can I do
this?

Thanks!

Have a look here:

Recolor or hide "key" text in a presentation
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00508.htm

It doesn't underline the text; instead it changes the color, but it should be
simple to modify it to replace the text with underscore characters.

Hmm. On second thought, it's not so obvious. So I added this page instead:

Convert key text into underscore characters (ie, make them into Fill In The
Blanks)
