Modifying right click behavior

Is there any way to change how right click behaves to have it open programs
by right clicking on the shortcut?

Or more specifically what im looking for is a shortcut for my computer on
the toolbar that when is right clicked opens system properties? Is this
possible?
Or how would I add the system properties option in the right click menu if
it isnt.

Can't name one, but I know there is a boatload of utilities (which is
what you're looking for) on www.download.com.

cruise over there and browse the Utilities menu.

Let me / us know what you find.

good luck!

Yes.

But, if you right click a shortcut, Open is usually the default action. The
first item on the list and in BOLD letters.

The Windows key + the Pause key will open System Properties.

sysdm.cpl = System Properties

Tying: sysdm.cpl in the Run command will open System Properties.

Double clicking sysdm.cpl will open System Properties.

Create a shortcut to %windir%\system32\sysdm.cpl

The following commands typed into the Run command will open System
Properties as listed below.

control Sysdm.cpl System Properties @General tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,1 System Properties @Computer Name tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,2 System Properties @Hardware tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,3 System Properties @Advanced tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,4 System Properties @System Restore tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,5 System Properties @Automatic Updates tab

control Sysdm.cpl,System,6 System Properties @Remote tab

Hope this helps. Let us know.
