hello

is there any way I can change previous comments in one procedure?

for example, I have one document with many comments like as "rich1" "rich2"
.. how can I change them to

to "Richard1" "Richard2"?

thanks a lot.

Try CTRL H Find What

rich1
Richard1

Click Replace All

Works fine 2007 with Review Tab open.

summer. thank your for you kindly reply.
but it looks that Replace funtion can not work on comments well.
PS: mine ms word is 2003.

Richard
should work in 2003, just did it
Go to Menu Tools Options Track Changes Only for comments/formatting turned
on right percentage

CTRL H

rich

Richard

You would get Richard1 Richard2 from rich1 or rich2....

Richard, sorry you are talking about "AUTHOR" such as "Rich1" or "Rich2".
No author cannot be a global replace as far as I know.

Sorry if my response was misleading.
