modem setup in networking

during step 3 of making a new connection dial up to the
network in the connection wizard. am asked to enter a
name for the dial up connection. no matter what i type in
i get the following message.

"connection to "blue"is not a valid name.The entry must
contain at least one character that is not a space and
connto begin with a space. choose another name."

have cheched and reloaded keboard driver .

any ideas

if this is what you used: "connection to "blue"is

try connection to blue or some other short name.
