Modem not detected

Hi. For some reason windows XP all of a sudden does not
detect my modem. I can see it when i go into the control
panel and access it through the modem button. It says the
modem is working fine, however when i try to log onto the
internet, it says windows does not have any modem listed
for my computer. thank you for your time

Hello

Do you know your modem type, also try removing the
modem and reboot your pc and let XP try your modem
and lets see what happens.
