Hi all,
my Dell Inspiron 5100/ XP Professional 2004 installation crashed recently. I
was able to get nearly everything back in operation except restoring my
dial-up connections. If I use an existing Network Connection to dial up to a
remote computer (either earthlink or other network PCs that previously
worked), the connection begins the handshake procedure and then drops out
with one of two messages;
Error 50 - the request is not supported or
Error 6 - the handle is invalid.
I can connect through my home network via Internet Gateway.
Does anyone know how to solve my dial-up connection problem?
Regards,
LB
