Modem Driver for XP Home Edition.

A friend who is currently without computer access due to
have problems with installation of her XP Home Edition.
She asked me to access the MS site to obtain a modem
driver for her install. Well I can't find any reference
to that request. I would apprectiate any help. I am not
a technically versed as she is but can follow
instructions.

Find out the maker of the modem and go to their site and download the
drivers.

Microsoft doesn't provide/write drivers for all the hardware in the
computer. That job is done by the manufacturer of the hardware in
question.

Go to the website of the company that makes the modem and find the
driver there.
