Modem does not pick up the phone?

I have created an incoming connection using my intel Modem but when the
phone rings the modem does not pick up the phone!

what should i do?!

Leon,

there should be an "Auto Answer" flag somewhere in your modem setting.
This should be on if you want your modem to react to an incoming call.
