mobsync.exe stopped error

Can anyone help with this issue?
Everytime i connect a storage device on my pc i get this error (most of the
times is my mobile phone ATT 8525(HTC 160)):
Microsoft Sync Center has stopped working

Event log entry was:
Faulting application mobsync.exe, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp

Yes, I got that message but cannot find any indication of SQL Server 2000 or
MSDE on my system.
Any help in locating what may be causing this error? I continously get the
Sync Center is stopped message and no partnerships or information shows up
when I open Sync Center.
You should have gotten this response:
http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/Response.aspx/6107/en-us/0.0.0.0.0.0.0
back, which indicates that you have SQL Server 2000 on this system... ? Is
that the case?
