mobile development systems... what is best?

Hi,

I will be starting mobile development with Visual Studio 2003 for Pocket PC
devices and Smartphones.

What system would be best for compiling code and general development of
mobile devices? I'am looking at notebook systems with the Intel M770
(2.13ghz) vs. a Pentium 4 3.2ghz system?

I develop on a Dell XPS (P4 3.4EE) laptop, but we had money to burn, so I
got what I wanted. The emulator will probably run slower on the M770, but
the most important thing is going to be RAM. Get one GB at least.
