OK so sh... After many years with the TV wonder Card I bit.. the bul and
went out and got the HDTV tuner card... cool I now can watch the HD channels
on the 'puter while programming... multitask multtiakalsk. .....

I had been running mmc 9.13 with the Reg hack found here some time ago to
turn off TVoD.. worked fine. Though a lot of trouble, not the least of which
was sudden rebooting of the computer when changing channels via the
keyboard... AAAAAAH..
I have moved to mmc9.14 and cat 6.6 Well most of the problems are gone...

Except the Reg. hack to turn off TVoD doesn't stick. The TVod turns itself
back on after changing channels more that around four times.
Have been playing with the Reg settings trying to bread something :) no
luck..

Anyone here got any ideas on how to turn this off forever?

I have a ticket into ATI but I know how programmers hate to ... "WHAT YOU
MEAN YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO TURN OFF THAT "FEATURE"??? BUt it took me six
months to turn it ON....

"If I can't control it. IT's not a feature it's a BUG!"

I've noticed a bug/feature of 9.14. I have an AIW & HDTV Wonder. If the AIW
is set so the S-Video connector is set to never timeshift and then I switch
to the HDTV Wonder tuner, timeshift is off for it as well. Really annoying
when timeshifting is wanted. I usually have it on. So then I set the
composite connector, that I don't use, to always timeshift. If I go to it
first then the HDTV Wonder tuner timeshifting is back on. Have only been
using it like that for a few days so don't know if it will continue.
Don't know if it works with the HDTV Wonder's connectors or not but would be
worth a try. You can set the connectors by going to the Channel tab, click
on the Connector list, then right click on the individual connectors then
properties.
You should also get the free program WatchHDTV. It's a basic program for the
HDTV Wonder tuner that allows timeshifting to be turned off/on and it's very
stable.
