mixed up user account

My documents and settings folders are all mixed up, first of all I have 2
instead of 1,one says documents and settings, the other says documents and
settings.000. On top of all this, all the sub folders are divided among the
2, is there anyway to get them to just one again?
 
start/run, type %userprofile%

If that profile has the ...000 folder, delete the other
