We have users sharing a number of Access databases. Since some have been upgraded to WinXP and others are still on Win9x we have been having corruption problems with the databases. I can't find any indication of this in the Technical Documents. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Make sure you have *all* of the latest updates on *all* of the computers.

Although they are all important, the most important one for Access 97 is the Jet 3.5x Updates. When I've had clients with corruption
issues, this has usually been the problem.

See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;303519.

Normally I say there are no dumb questions. However, I find myself making your question an exception.

Any chance you followed the links in the article I sent you to? I think *not.*

DLL names, versions, and dates are listed in the referenced articles.

Thanks. Now for the really dumb question, how do I determine whether the pc's have the lates jet updates or even version? Is there
a way to tell based on file date?
