Many of my fonts were mistakenly deleted by someone cleaning up my system. I
have the Windows XP CD however can not find the fonts on it, without
reinstalling windows. To reinstall Times New Roman from the net I would have
to pay for it. Is there any way I can get the fonts off my Windows CD.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Relax - no problem.

Control Panel > Fonts > File menu > Install new font...

The standard XP fonts are located on a Windows install CD in the FONTS folder
