Font Problems

My display fonts are suffering from some strange corruption. It appears that
all my Times New Roman fonts, when displayed in any application, appear as
italics. AIM, IE, Firefox, and so on, all display the font as italic. There
is no option to change this under display properties (none of the fonts there
are set to italic), and I have already tried reinstalling all my Times New
Roman fonts from my setup CD. Help!

Update: It appears that my 'Verdana' font was missing, and for some reason,
was causing some of my other fonts to be displayed incorrectly. Problem
solved!
