Please can someone recommend how to get the Wireless Zero
Configuration Service back. Its gone missing from my XP
Pro SP1 machine and I need it to install a wireless
network card (DLink G650).

Does the XP O/S CD fix this in Repair installation mode?
The install disk I have is not SP1, does this matter?

Thanks in advance!

Open services and scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration Service,
Start the service and set it to automatic. If it does not show in the
list of Services:

run regedit and find

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WZCSVC

add a DWORD entry named "Start" and
value "2"
