missing windows directory files

Help!!I can't use the windows uninstaller and windows
help.I'm receiving these error messages.winhlp.exe binary
is corrupt,please reinstall.Also, orun32.ini file is
missing from windows directory,please reinstall.Tried
doing repair from the XP disc with no luck.What do I try
next??Thanks for reading this.
