missing window

Recently went onto net via ntl
After exit from either outlook express or internet explorer
there used to be a box/window to either 'stay on line' or
'disconnect now'
Recently installed Zone alarm and updates on Win 2000 and
outlook exp and internet explorer
Cant find this box/window anywhere
Looking for help!!!!!!!!!

Here is the registry entry to give you that option:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/RemoteAccess/Profile/"Provider Name"

EnableExitDisconnect = 1
