missing web pages background

Syd

Hi everyone,

I would need some help with a problem affecting a friend of mine.
He is missing all backgrounds from web pages with IE6

I suggested to check the settings in Internet Options -> General -> Colours
and Accessibility but they seems to be correct.
I also suggested to reset the predefined settings in Advanced but it did not
solve the problem.

Any suggestion?

Hi Syd,

Internet Options - General tab - Accessibility button, uncheck Ignore colors
specified on Web Pages.... Yes it also affects background images (both body
and table or div background images) as well as background colors.

Regards.

Thank you Rob

As I said in my message I already suggested that, in fact it makes sense,
but apparently it doesn't solve the problem

Thank you anyway

Hi,
Also check Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that
High Contrast
is not checked. Also click on Settings and uncheck Use Shortcut. That will
disable the Alt+Shift+Print Screen shortcut to High Contrast.

Hope this helps,
Don
