Missing Toolbar in Word 2007

My toolbar only shows up if I click on Format or Review or View etc. and then
disappears after take an action. How can I get it to stay?

Double-click any of those items, or press Ctrl+F1.

By the way, Microsoft calls that the "ribbon", not a "toolbar". When you ask
questions here, it's best to avoid confusing people. <g>
