Hi All,
In Word 2007, can you still modify or add to toolbars in Attached 2003 templates? If so, how to get there? If I am remembering
correctly, I think it used to be Tools/ Customize/ Right click on the toolbar . led to an interface.

From the user interface, you can add buttons to the QAT (Quick Access
Toolbar).

If you want to create toolbars similar to those of Word 97-2003 directly in
Word 2007, you will have to use VBA. Any toolbars created this way will show
up on the Add-Ins tab of the ribbon (when the document or template
containing them is open that is). Note, however, that it will be easier to
create the toolbars in Word 2003.

Stefan, you state that it is easier to create the toolbars in Word 2003 and I agree. But when I open the template in Word 2007 sometimes the toolbar doesn't show up under the Add-Ins tab. Has anyone ever seen this running Windows XP and Office 2007.
