missing titles, credits, and text animations

I cannot add titles, end credits, or text animations in
Movie Maker 2. After selecting the add end credits
option in the menu it just stays there. With titles it
will bring up the text box to input the words but then
will not place the text or create the text slide. Under
the text animations, the box that normally lists the
various animations is empty.
Why is it doing this? Where did these options go? I've
tried reinstalling and had the same results? HELP!

I encountered the very same problem. I love WMM 2 but get frustrated with this problem. The program runs just fine on my laptop, so I tried to do the credits there. When I transfered the movie back to the main computer, the titles and credits were blank... FRUSTRATING!!! Suggestion anybody?
