Missing taskbar

Help, I'm pulling my hair out. My 5 yr-old son was surfing
the net and after he was done the taskbar was missing.
I've looked at Help to no avail. I've tried clicking in
the area where it should be and nothing happens. I've
tried searching around the desktop in case it had been
moved and hidden, still no joy. Any ideas?

It's probably been reduced in size. Go to the bottom of the screen and see
if the pointer changes to a double-arrow. If so, click and drag upwards.

Alternatively, pressing the Windows key (or Ctrl and Escape) should reveal
its location.

or else he may have re-adjusted your monitor's height
and it went off screen
