Missing system32.exe

Mike

After getting a worm virus I started to get an error
message each time I log on referring to a missing file.
The error message i recieve is: "Windows cannot
find 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe'. Make sure you
typed the name correctly ,and then try again. To search
for a file, click the Start button, and then click
Search."
I have tried searching for the file in other XP systems
and haven't found one yet. The system works fine after I
click ok, but the searching for the file slows the log on
process and is a bit of an annoyance. Does anyone have
the solution to this program. Thanks

Why do you want to replace "system32.exe"? That is the virus
file itself! It is not a Microsoft Windows XP file! You need to
permanently delete "system32.exe".

Remove remnants of KWBot.Worm from the Registry and File System

Note: You'll have to disable your antivirus program before running the repair.
