Missing System Restore function after virus recovery

T

Tdub

There is no System Restore function (after a virus recovery) on my
computer. I had disabled it in the normal way (check/uncheck option on
the System Restore tab of My Computer Properties) B4 beginning virus
recovery procedure. After virus recovery it is not found via the
various normal methods as outlined in MS KB articles (e.g., System
Restore tab is missing). Do I just run my OEM Restore CD to repair the
OS? TIA.
