When I click on the tools menue and then the options
button. The tab for spelling is missing. I really need
my spell check. This is a new computer. How do I go
about finding the right spot to turn it on?

Hi Barbara,

If you have Word or Works installed:

Automated Edit:

Fix the OE Spell Checker (Line 263)

Manual Edit:

Go to Start/Run/EXPAND X:\i386\CSAPI3T1.DL_ C:\CSAPI3T1.DLL (Where X is your
CD-Rom drive letter). And then copy it to: Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof

Or download the file here: Replace the Csapi3t1.dll file

An error occurred while the spelling was being checked.

You have to have MS Word installed on your computer in order have the
spelling tab. MS Works, Word 97, WordPerfect, etc...will not work for
Outlook Express.

If you are using Windows Outlook Express for your e-mail and don't have
"Spell Check", click the link below and download it for free. After you do,
it will appear on the toolbar where spell check is grayed out. Works great
and is safe.
