Missing some files for XP

I think I'm missing a couple of files windows needs to start.

I'm using XP Home OEM (Dell) CD.

When I try to copy the Ntoskrnl.exe file from the CD in the Recovery
Console, it states that the file or directory can not be found. What is the
exact location of the Ntoskrnl.exe file on the CD?

As well when windows trys to load in Safe Mode it brings up on screen what
files it is loading. Where can I find out what files come after apg.sys? as I
maybe missing some.

NTOSKRNL.EX_ is compressed and needs to be expaned to get Ntoskrnl.exe.

Make that...

\I386\NTOSKRNL.EX_

NTOSKRNL.EX_ is compressed and needs to be EXPANDED to get Ntoskrnl.exe.
