How can I get this feature in my Windows XP environment.
I used it all the time in Windows 2000.
Thanks..............

It's on the quick-launch toolbar. Right-click on the
taskbar and then Toolbars, then checkmark QuickLaunch.

Hi Couch,

Right-click the Taskbar > Toolbars > enable "QuickLaunch".

If the "show desktop" icon is missing in the Quick Launch toolbar, try any
of these procedure:

Option 1:

Restore Show Desktop Icon
http://www.dougknox.com/tips/showdesktop.htm

Option 2:

Alternately, search for the file named showdesktop.scf in your computer by
logging in as administrator. Every user has a copy of this file. Copy it to
your userprofile path here:

c:\Documents and Settings\<<YOUR USER NAME>>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Option 3:
