Missing shortcuts

After re-installing XP SP2 I am missing many shortcuts on the Start Menu:
command prompt, Windows Explorer, all Entertainment shortcuts and maybe more.
How can I establish them? As far as I can tell the programs themselves are
installed.
Many thanks,
Larry

Go into Start | All Programs. Find the missing programs and Right Click |
Send To | Desktop (create shortcut).

Take a Desktop icon and drag it to the Start button and when the menu opens,
drag it up to its proper place.

Sorry, I did not explain my problem correctly. The programs DO NOT appear
on the start menu -- i.e. Windows Explorer does not appear on Start Menu,
command prompt does not show in system tools, entertainment is empty, etc.
Thanks
