Wehn I connect to the Internet (broadband connection) I get a message the server has not started. Whne I go to MMC the server service is no longer there to restart. How does one go about restoreing this service
Thanks

This is totally offtopic for microsoft.public.word.newusers and possibly for
both of the other NGs to which you have posted it.

Hi

Adding "File and Print Sharing" to your network connection should install the server service. If "File and Print Sharing" is installed already, uninstall it, reboot and install it again.

Did you check the header of your message to see what NGs it was being posted
to?
