missing ram

I`ve got an EI Systems 3080 with 256mb of ram installed.However system information is showing only 224mb.Where has the other 32mb gone.Asked pcsupport same question 2 days ago but no reply yet!(ps computer novice)

You are likely to have shared graphics which take out some of your ram to help to graphics, that is very common in ei systems. I am just assuming this though we will need more system specs if you would like a more definate answer
